Im looking for books or a detailed list & analysis of these for raising blood pressure.

Its hard to find because most people want to lower it, & high BP is the killer.

so every search just brings up stuff about lowering it, & any that are ambiguous i find on further inspection turn out to be more about high.

Id like a reference book by someone with deep knowledge, a medical expert, rather than a website with a few bits of info, or wishy washy 2nd hand info.

low blood pressure is driving me mad, everything is such an effort & i often have 'attacks' (for want of a better word) where it drops suddenly & i have to stop & bend over or sit down wherever i am & wait for it to even out - even standing for more than a few minutes has me slowly feeling it dropping.

Its basically POTS - Postural orthostatic tachycardia
the cardiac doctor just told me to have more salt & couldnt prescribe me anything as it hadnt show during tests (my heart is fine)
& agreed it was like my bloodvessels/veins were too lax - due to ehlers danlos syndrome, EDS - & need to be constricted a bit

Although i noticed when i was in hospital for a month that i hardly had it - & they were giving me fragmin every day, so i dont know if thats why, but apparently they only give that in hospitals...(!)
(its to stop clots for people who are bedbound)

I know salt is the main one but i want to try as many vitamins, supplements, herbs etc as possible to see which is best.

any ideas?
thanks

You could start with all the foods and drinks to avoid if you want to lower your BP, and consuming them instead. Here's one link, Google provides many more ...

have you tried compression socks. Often recommended for POTS. They need to be fitted properly and should provide 20-30 mmHg of pressure. Be sure to consult with your physician to determine what is right for you. It is also important to make sure that the compression socks you choose fit properly. Compression socks should be snug, but not too tight.

Silver lining. Continually failing to find the answer you're looking for should solve your BP problem.
