The New Foreign Secretary .

Camerons first move . He wants to unlock millions for Foreign aid over the next decade to help the world's poorest people. How about helping the poor people in the Uk then Dave.

Is Cameron's position as Foreign Secretary a good idea When he is known to have a close relationship with China .After all he was charging Chinese entrepreneurs and officials £8,000 for a three hour private meeting with him before he came back into Govt.

Before taking up his new position Cameron said he was resigning from "all other Businesses that I have been helping and all other things I have been been doing" But he did not say what they were.....Some thing shady no doubt ....after all he is a Tory.

^^^Tories don't have the monopoly on shadiness (think Jared O'Mara, Keith Vaz etc. etc.)

I seem to remember though Dave' s dad and he, had something to do with dosh in the Cayman Islands or somewhere ?

Downing St said ...."call me Dave" need not disclose  or declare any income or benefits he enjoyed before he became FS. But new MPs are required to disclose any payments employment or gifts over the last twelve months before they are appointed.

How about this Government helps the poor in this country whilst still maintaining our commitment to Foreign Aid?

Fiveleaves @ 18.50 This is a Tory Govt ruling the UK at the moment.

The poor in the UK can expect no help from them .  All the UK Tories do is help themselves ... The working class and the poor, can get lost.

dont remember labour helping the poor either, lot of fat cats in  that party too, remember two jags... and blairs millions property portfolio, cheri did rather well defending illegal migrants and other ilk, that human rights act was a gravy train.

I remember them rifling working men's pensions and abolishing the low rate income tax for low earners.

Yes naomi, everyone seems to have forgotten about Gordon brown raiding and destroying the pensions of millions of working people so he could give the proceeds to the workshy and feckless in order to bribe them for votes.
