I was trying to lose weight as a 5 foot, 170lb, 29-year-old female, and I was wondering what sort of meal schedule would be best for me. I know that I need to eat around 1500 calories a day and try to work out once daily. With this, I am not sure what is better for me, only eating three or six meals a day.
Three meals:
Breakfast, workout, lunch, dinner
Six meals:
Pre-workout, workout, breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, dessert
Please let me know your thoughts on things.

Every time you eat...particularly carbs or sugar...your body produces insulin. Insulin is the fat hormone and causes the body to store fat, rather than use it for energy. If you must have a snack, eat protein such as a boiled egg, a handful of nuts or seeds. I've heard it said regarding eating a boiled egg as a snack...if you can't eat an egg, then you're not really hungry. You don't usually need snacks.
