Pfizer Booster

Had a Covid booster yesterday which I was told was the 'Pfizer spike' vaccine.  Horrible hot/cold shivery night and I can barely lift my arm this morning.  Never had a problem with the previous four vaccines, none of which was Pfizer.

Has anyone else had this adverse reaction to a Pfizer booster?

Same thing with me. Iv'e had 7 covid jabs and the  last time this happened was number 1.

The nurse warned me this would occur. You will be fine in a day or so.

All my Pfizer jabs have resulted in two or three days of general tiredness and a slightly achy arm. Nothing serious, fortunately.

Thanks, feeling a bit better now but it was a rotten night.  Glad I didn't have the flu jab at the same time, as some people do!

I was warned of a lack of sound when urinating after the Pfizer shot.

Because of the silent P, apparently.

I think Ive been lucky - I've always had the Pfeizer and last month had it with the flu jab as well.   No probs to speak of really.

Awe I feel for you I had them both on Monday Flu jab nothing, but yes my right arm with the booster It was absolute agony, and I do try to play things down, but I could'nt barly move it without pain. Thank goodness only lasted 12 hours-ish.

We both had Pfizer last month with flu jab and I was fine but Wife who also had the Shingles one was bad for the best part of a week and couldn't stand properly for 2 days.  This is the third time with the pfizer and she says it is the last as she has been bad with them each time.

I'd like to add though I wouldn't want to discourage anyone who may need it long term.

My mum was always  unwell after her flu jab, which is why I've never had one.  I hope no more Covid boosters are recommended as I wouldn't want to go through another night like last night.

These are mild reactions and sometimes you get them and sometimes you dont.

Covid is still a killer, so as usual, the choice is yours

I decided not to have any more. I have a friend who has had every one offered. Had Covid 3 times. 2 family members had it twice having had all vaccine.

Strange tho the flu jab still being used, I've not heard of anyone having flu for a couple of years. I did have that one.

I had a mini-stroke from the Medusa vaccine & was hospitalised for 3 days & still bear repercussions, so no more vaccines for me, it's your choice .

Thanks for the further answers.  I have to say last night was the worst I've felt for many a year and I'm only now feeling anything like back to normal.

If offered another Covid vaccine I think I'd say no thank you.

Yes, sister had very painful underarm gland swelling and aching.

lasted about a year. Never again.

I have been invited to have a Covid Booster, and I made an appointment(I am 76).

However,I had a flu jab(at a supermarket) and now have had bad flu symptoms for 2 weeks! Usually I get my flu jab(for about 14 years now) at the GP Surgery(with NO side effects).

So I am cancelling the Covid Booster.

Any thoughts?

Have had 5 covid jabs so far, and my last one, which was two weeks ago, was the first time I've have had Pfizer jab. Arm was sore for a day or so ....  Other than that .... all good  😊

Someone would have to chase me down to give me a Covid Vaccine.

There simply hasn't been enough time for appropriate research and testing to be done for the Vaccine to be Reliable.

This is my singular opinion. I've not had Covid, or the shots for vaccination.

Yeah like everyone says, happened to me also. different reactions to different jabs but same jab.

My last 2 boosters have been Pfizer with no problems. Had mine last week...only slightly sore arm and next day fatigue.

Some say it's good to have a reaction...I've no idea if that's true.

Thisoldbird, if your friend had not had the vaccines she might have died.  You don't know whether they saved her life or not.

All my vaccines have been Pfizer and no problems at all for me.
