A really gripping series which I binge watched. Can highly recommend.

I had the misfortune to read the book as a book group pick several years ago. It was truly the worst book I've ever read, so many improbabilities. It just made no sense. And as for the "big moment".. damp squib more like so I'll pass on the TV version.

Watched the 1st episode, thought it was very good, but as soon as the second episode started, it was downhill all the way.

Sadistic, pantomime villain nazi officers (there were some, but not all).

Brilliant ending to part 1 when the lamp was knocked out by a wave & the tables were completely reversed, he could see nothing but she being blind had the advantage, but part 2 started quite differently, with light in the cave.

Hung on a bit longer, then switch off!
