Once Again Animals Suffer Because Of Moronic People.

These dogs are pure muscle and have powerful jaws. As they are not a real breed, they probably come from puppy farms.
Puppy farm dogs are poorly socialised at a crucial age and are normally unstable. Why would anyone with children want such a dog?
There was a case in Scotland (can't find the article) where a bully breed dog attacked a child and the dog's owner decided to sell the dog to someone else before the authorities could take action. Human beings that stupid should be prevented from breeding.
Thanks for the link Barry, I've just watched it.
This is a massive business that seriously needs to close down.
If the BBC and Panorama can find these breeders, why can't the police?
The laws and regulations need to change and fast.
The prison sentence for someone whose dog kills a human being should get a longer sentence too.
//Owners of the breed will have to have dogs neutered, microchipped, and exempted, or have them euthanised.//
It's not enough. The breeders need to be closed down if we are to rid our country of these dogs.
I walk a dog for a charity and I saw a middle aged man with one of those types of dog a couple of weeks ago. 'My' dog is only a little thing and I am always a little bit aware when I see certain dogs coming towards us. The dog that was coming towards us layed down and the owner said she was 'hiding'. I asked him what type of dog it was and he hesitated and said "It's an American bulldog" I`m sure the dog was perfectly fine but the guy could hardly hold her as she was pulling so much.
I was staying in Florida a couple of years ago and the next door neighbour had an American Pitt Bull. I stroked it and it seemed fine but he said don't bend down to it because he didn't know how it would behave. The problem is that humans have bred certain traits into these animals and now it's the animal's fault.
