saved labels

Last Christmas I saved address labels for my Christmas cards in "My Documents" I just tried to open it to alter some addresses and it appears to have a key symbol on it and it is in Microsoft Accress Aplication. Can anyone out there tell me how to open it please.

What were they originally?

I did it in word as a mail merge.

right click on the file icon, select 'open with', highlight 'word' (or whatever you want to try to open it with) and tick the box to 'always open the application with this program'.

Just checked it says 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file'
Go back and untick it if it doesn't work.

Good. Just one point. If this box is ticked for the wrong file type it will overide the correct one, so only tick it when you are sure the selected program can open the file OK. I thought I better add this in case anybody else tries it!
