House History
I live in a turn of the century flat in Perth, Scotland and I want to invstigate who has lived in my house previously.
I have the deeds and the builder's family has owned the whole street up until a recent sell off - so the flat probably had a series of tenants.
The last census would not cover my home has I believe it was built in 1903.
So are there any other ways I can investigate who has lived here? The only other clues I have is that it is very close to the railways and the feu was owned until the 1970's by the Co-op Society.

It's possible that the staff will try to say that allowing you to see these is contrary to the Data Protection Act, but they would be mistaken to do so for older registers. Electoral regisration is a legal requirement on householders, and it should (in theory) catch all adult males and some adult women.
