As Ethel says, its an imprisonable offence, under data protection laws, to make a reverse searchable telephone directory available, either on CD or online, in the UK.

If the person (or firm) has their contact details on a website (e.g. if they're the secretary of a club) a Google search might work (by following Neildownx's instructions).

Otherwise, you (or a friend) will have to phone the number, either using a direct approach or using a bit of subterfuge.
