Himself has just been told the growth removed during his recent procedure was not cancerous.

He has been told that the type removed if left can become cancerous - so glad that we got in early enough.

It has given him the incentive to slightly change his diet.

That's great news Red.  Best to err on the side of caution. Now, changing diet might be more of a challenge??

Thanks Maggie - I don't know - he has gone off today with a healthy lunch and water!!

The problem is he doesn't like to drink a lot during the day incase he needs to use the facilities! Its an ongoing battle.

That is good news!  Now you can stop worrying. Merry Christmas 

Portable urinal in the car is a big help for me when I'm out and about.

I think its called a shy bladder - it goes back to his childhood - he grew up in a hotel where they were told not to use the bathrooms when there were guests about incase they disturbed the guests.

His brother has the same issue

Was it a polyp removed during a colonoscopy?

I don't know what it was removed - I don't have the letter in front of me any more
