Some time ago I posted a link to chess.com.  I don't know if anyone has used it but something odd happened to one of my games and I would like to run it past someone.  I was playing against the computer - I had him in very definite checkmate - and the given result was a draw.  How does that work?  Anyone?

Khandro, why don't you play against the computer?  He doesn't hang about .... but he might diddle you out of a victory.  ;o)

Games are usually saved Naomi, can you replay the same moves and see if it happens again?

Khandro on the site I use you can specify total time, time for each move etc. So just agree in max move time that suits you both. Eg I use https://lichess.org/ you can select a standard template or make your own with "custom".

Games against 'friends' are saved automatically, TTT, but those against the computer have to be physically saved each time.

i can't remember what the moves were.

You can play more than one game at a time, canary.  I play someone and we give ourselves 14 days to finish a game.  It rarely lasts that long - but it could.
