After an accident my car is a write off and the insurance have been in touch. Another car was involved and accepted that no-one was to blame. Does my Insurance company pay for my car and his insurance for his repairs? If so why did my insurance company want to know the other drivers policy number?
it seems your company and theirs have agreed a knock for knock, which means your company will pay you out and you will lose your no claims bonus,or part of it.
NORMANTHEDOG, does that mean that my Insurance has paid for his damage aswell? If so then that is making it seem that I was fully to blame when he himself said it was 50/50. Will my insurance send a letter to me confirming this.
no its knock for knock, you each take the blame,so his company pay for his damage and your company pay for yours, thats if you are fully comp, but you will lose some,if not all of your no claims bonus.
Another 2 drivers who won't admit blame for a collision.
Of course you are both to blame, never saw the wet road, never saw the corner, did not see the narrow road and driving too fast for the road conditions, as you admitted.
