A QUESTION INSTEAD OF USELESS BABBLE ABOUT GREASY NASTY CHIPS

Hi I need some advice on hair products...
I need an alternative to hairspray/gel both these products contain alcohol which seems to be drying my hair out terribley, looks great when its on but on the days when I dont wear it my hair feels a bit coarse.

PS: I have a great diet, use salon bought shampoo and conditioner.

honest answer - do not use any product you see/find in the supermarket or Boots these are for the masses [ sorry folks but its true] go to a wholesalers for hairdressers if they say for professionals only tell them you are starting up a"have hairdryer will travel" business.But the stuff the salons use Schwkopf [ sorry cant spell it] or any similar professional one is good, the bottles are big and at approx £15 each or shampoo and a conditioner but they will last you about 2 to 3 months, dont go to the shops for Afro hair unless that is your type of hair as their stuff is greasy on European hair and the most important thing never never ever use a 2 in 1 shampoo & conditioner its fo lazy people, some states in th USA have bnned their sale but that for sure will run your hair.Also buy some spray on shine to use before you go out or if you can find it Kerastase Oleo-Relax for shine on dull hair smallish bottle aroung £17 but will last a good 6 months.You have to invest a little but it will pay off.Niece works for a top west end salon.Hope this helps and I dont mean to offend anyone, so sorry if I hav done so.

Get a more natural gel, in a tube, then a spray bottle. put some gel in in spray bottle, fill the rest with water, and shake. less product hopefully means less dryness. also on days off from gel, rub a dime size amount of coconut oil in your hands until it melts completely-depending on how much hair you have will determine how much you use. put your fingers out like a rake and gently comb this cocnut oil through, not too much root, comb through most of the way, you should have oil left on your hands, to rub in and soften hands. don't worry if the coconut oil isnt spread through well, throughout the day the oil spreads itself as DRY hair moves. APPLY DRY.   ok
