Googling 192 To Find Some One

have any of you abers googled 192 to find anyone?

Just curious! I've just found this site amazing.

Yes but you can`t find any info unless you sign up and pay money so I didn`t go any further than that.

i did actually pay £6.95 for something and then they wanted another £9.95 which i hadn't realised and they took it. that was it then, had to pay again for more searches,

You dont pay, but have to put in email adress and a password and that will give you more information. I tapped in the full name +middle name and found straight away what i was looking for. Amazing.

I remember when 192 first started - it was free and you could find all the information about a person, including telephone number, other occupants, the names and addresses of his neighbours, house prices, how long they'd lived there.....it was really very scary.
You had to request 192 to remove the information about you until the law changed and they had to remove everybody who had 'ticked the box' on the electoral roll.

You will find info about someone on 192.com if their number is not ex-directory and if they have not ticked the box on the electoral roll to say that they don`t want their information shared with other agencies. Basically, 192 is directory enquiries online and all of your info will be on there unless you state otherwise.

It's far more than directory enquiries. It will show other occupants, previous occupants, how long you've lived at that address and your age, unless you have 'ticked the box' on the electoral roll.

I'm not on 192, i opted out on the electoral roll. But i would have though the cost of it would deter casual stalkers anyway?
