Another overcrowded rubber boat capsized off Calais earlier this week.

Me thinks the sooner Rwanda gets ,literally,off the ground then hopefully we will see fewer of these fatal disasters. Will Rwanda deter these chancers?

As a matter of interest, what happens to all the rubber boats that bring these people to the UK? Are they just stacked up in a warehouse somewhere, or are they sold off for Coastguard funds?

They are being stored in various places on the Kent coast for use in "possible criminal proceedings" against people smugglers. The number of stored boats is increasing as fast as the number of criminal proceedings is not.
