Only recently because Biden has lost a lot of support over his attitude toward israel. trump leads among republican primary voters because the republican party has transitioned into a fascist movement that is loyal to trump first and country a distant second... it was possible to talk about "sensible republicans" a few years ago but they truly do not exist now.

This is what happens when a relatively small number of evil people have been allowed to accumulate too much wealth and power. They, naturally enough, like this state of affairs and wield said wealth and power to further corrupt their bought and paid for politicians/media.

Well that plainly is not true of course. Unfortunately because of Trump's popularity in the party many who might otherwise be more reasonable are having to sound deranged :-)

But even leaving that aside there are many good Republicans. They just aren't being listened to.
