To assess whether a gaming build is good, it's essential to consider various factors such as the specific components, budget, intended use, and performance expectations. Without specific details about the build, I can provide you with a general checklist of components to consider when evaluating a gaming PC build:

1. Processor (CPU):

Look for a modern and powerful CPU, preferably from the latest generation.

Consider a CPU with multiple cores and high clock speeds for optimal gaming performance.

2. Graphics Card (GPU):

The GPU is crucial for gaming performance. Choose a graphics card that aligns with your gaming preferences and resolution.

Check benchmarks and reviews to ensure the GPU meets your gaming expectations.

3. Memory (RAM):

Opt for a sufficient amount of RAM (usually 16GB or more) to handle multitasking and demanding games.

Choose RAM with a high frequency for better performance.

4. Storage:

Consider a combination of SSD (Solid State Drive) for faster load times and an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) for additional storage.

Ensure the SSD has enough capacity for the operating system and frequently played games.

Now that large capacity SSDs are more affordable I wouldn't consider HDD.
