No they are not...a Daily Fail article I read earlier was their usual spreading of panic.

Just been to both Sainsbury's and Waitrose in central London and there was plenty of everything.

No empty shelves whereever I went today.

Nor down here in the sticks.....

The only reason shelves are empty now, is because everyone's gone mad.

I've never put as much stock out in a Xmas week before and when I left at lunchtime there wasn't much left in the back-up stores at all.

Thank goodness I've got 3 days off; I'm cream crackered.

I saw a few empty shelves in Tesco the other day; I expect they were soon filled, but maybe not as quickly as they usually would be.

When I went to Sainsburys on Thursday the Turkey section was empty.  Glad I was already sorted.

Tescos yesterday was a bit pants with stuff missing. But I came up with my own subs and took the view that I could not care less.

I've literally just got back from Tesco (looking for a paring knife. They didn't have one). Plenty of stuff on the shelves and where there wasn't there were staff filling them.

I expect Tesco have been reading the Mail too...

Actually, whilst waiting fruitlessly for a knife at customer services, I noticed that the newspaper shelves were empty. 😂

We went to our local shop on Thursday morning and the only thing missing were customers, straight to a till
