OP says (7,7), answer given is (7) - which is correct?

Clue seems to imply an anagram of 'great tim', which is (8) and leaves a 'T' over after taking Maigret out.

Yes, Jo.  I did see someone asking if there had been any amendments for this quiz so probably some wrongly written
either words or numbers.  There had been no reply to an email requesting  confirmation at that time anyway.
