I wouldn't call that 'minor' - it is an operation on your face that can't be hidden away if you're not happy with the result.
Have you asked those closest to you for their honest opinions?
I booked a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin from major weight loss but backed out at the last moment. I decided an unnecessary operation was not worth the risk, however slight that is. I was also aware that after the tummy tuck I would probably still be very unhappy with the loose skin on my arms, legs, back, neck, face, buttocks - and where would it end?
There are some exercises you can do to tone up and tighten your jowls if you want to give them a try - also some gadgets you can buy to help you exercise but I don't know how effective they are.
I would advise you to think about it for at least 6 months before you consult a surgeon, see how you feel about it then.
