Hi,

2003 Fiesta's a right off (cam belt went), has a full tank of fuel. The mechanic says the fuel can't be siphoned but can't it be drained somehow ? What do people do when they fill up with the wrong fuel, f'rinstance ?

Cheers

I put petrol in my diesel car. The AA came and pumped the tank out, but with a motor powered pump not a siphon.
There is usually a drain tap(or a place where you can screw in a tap) on the bottom of a fuel tank somewhere.
If there is no drain plug you could use the cars fuel pump to empty the tank. Disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter and get a container ready, then turn on the ignition and the fuel pump should start running.
