Anyhoo - anything interesting today? we are doing a stock of the freezers as we always try to run them down in january - menu plan for the rest of the month - exciting I know lol

Good morning Red. Possibly the rubber band at the heart of AB has gone slack? Sounds like a fun day for you, I ought to do my freezer but really cannot be asked at the moment. Morning guys us. Upset here so ignore any mis spellings etc...l I seem to have fallen out with teen smow(who we know is no longer a teen but we all know him as that)...after driving 5 hrs to see him for New Year, and 5 hours back, he has completely blanked me since - have messaged, voicemailed....... nothing😢😢😢And I know he is ok as he has messaged my MIL! Yes we has a disagreement when I saw him but I thought it was all ok. So upset 😢😢😢

No1 did you drive or did husband drive?

No2 the disagreement was it justified or were you being overprotective?

MIL needs to be careful not to overstep the boundaries

Hubby drove. Conversation was all about how we recognised the debt and how could we help to sort it.

Perhaps he felt you were overstepping.

text him and say you realise that its his issue - you were trying to help but will back off and allow him to sort it out.

That way you are not offering to handover any money and you are giving him space

Good morning all...sitting here in front of my SAD lamp tying to avert grumpyness. Hopefully will make up for lack of external sunlight.

I should tackle my freezer, but as it's a short one, I'm avoiding that kind of bending for now.

Morning.  We have cat food wars this morning.  Tescos substituted their favourite on Tuesday.  They have now decided that they ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT EAT the replacement and that Mummy is obviously trying to poison them and they are probably considering reporting me to the Cats Protection League.  One of them just turned her dish upside down in disgust because I refuse to open another pouch of the replacement on the basis that will be refused too.  I do not have any of their favourite.  I am not going to Tescos.  This is deadlock.  Who will break first?

Fussy cats!! When Sir's Gourmet Gold variety was discontinued, I went into panic mode. Sir, who used to be an unfussy street cat, now has very particular tastes.

Luckily I found replacements...if only he knew the lengths I go to!

Red, I guessed that already - probably why I enjoy your posts so much. You remind me of my younger self. Too much younger, actually...

We had our dinner at lunch time today. But I have just made one of my most favourite recipes. We are having our Christmas Pud for our tea/supper - call it what you like - with cognac cream. Of course I reverted to my childhood and cleaned the old hand-driven egg whisk, loverly :) :) :)
