For a quick bite to eat, to the newish Co op cafe. Had a ham and cheese panini and a lovely hot latte.
Picked up some jam donuts, a baguette and some bananas while we were there. With the kitchen being out of action it solved lunch, and tonight's meal too.

Anyone had an interesting lunch today?

I am about to make two rolls with a filling of Spinach, roasted seeds and salad cream.  Yummy!

Ooh, nice textures in that, wolf, and who can resist salad cream. I actually had a sachet of mayo with my panini, wouldn't have thought of it until the lady serving me asked if I wanted some.

chicken satay and peanut butter wrap

i'm about to have a bacon sarnie

Question Author

Like the sound of the filling, Helen, but I really don't like the wrap part of a wrap, a bit like eating a dishcloth, too soft, soggy and tasteless.

Now you're talking, bednobs, can never resist a bacon sarnie..ketchup or brown sauce?? Ketchup for me.

I went to Morrison's for lunch a couple of hours ago for lunch but they'd not got any roast chicken. (Just as they haven't had for the last dozen or so times that I've wanted to order it either. -  I don't know why they keep it on their menu).

So I decided to have fish and chips instead but they'd not got that either (or, indeed, anything else that I fancied).  So I came home and had cheese on toast with baked beans.

Three quid on fuel wasted.

hp you weirdo!
