Sold Car Problem
I sold my car in May and thought that the DLVA were informed of the change of owner by the new owner. Obviously I was wrong in this! I was called by the new owner yesterday as she can't tax the car without being the official owner. I have now sent this off to the DVLA. Any way I can speed things up for the new owner? - I feel reallly bad about it. Thanks.

I know this to my cost as my car that I bought in July is not registered in my name so as already stated the car does not belong to me according to the DVLA. I have now had to fill out a V62 and pay 19 for them to make sure I own the vehicle and issue me with the registration document this is supposed to take about 6 wks so until then Im off the road. Lets hope your buyer stays off the road as you own the car the fines will be in your name. Dont think ther is much you can do but good luck anyway
