Pasta, I tried, he tried, we both tried, and got nowhere

Oh that's a shame Vagus. Maybe it depends on whether the store from which it is delivered has it in stock.

The scientists who brought us Dolly the sheep have been busy developing a 4-legged haggis specifically for two couples celebrating the bard.

No more arguments about not getting a leg as well as the innards.

Will they fight over haggis head? Not a pretty picture. 😶

I only like the haggis rump, legs are too skinny. As for the head, nothing inside it, it's empty.

Sainsbury's always have it but rarely allow you t add it online

Traditionally the head goes to the host who uses it as a drinking vessel, once "cleaned" to toast the wee beastie with Cutty Sark whisky after The Address, Pasta. Similar to a Spanish porron, the spirits exiting the nose or 'neb'.

It's considered very rude for anyone else to lay hands on it.

That was addressed, if you will, by the boffins at Roslin who designed the haggis wheel to build up their wee pins, Vagus.

Ooh, I'd quite enjoy that, Doug 🤔

We visited Roslin chapel and didn't spot any haggis, or reference to them, maybe a return visit is on the cards.

Indeed the news of a 4 legged haggis great, but, let's hope everyone is aware 2 legs are shorter than the other ones . Oh

On the same side, too, Anne..or so I believe 😉

The Roslin Institute, not Rosslyn Chapel Vagus

Legend has it that the friars drove the haggi out during The Enlightenment much as St Patrick with the snakes to protect the potato crop in Erin.

Managed to get a variety of seafood from M&S for tomorrow night so I will make the tart in the morning and the bread in the afternoon

We were in m&s today, Helen, and I bought loads of their French butter with crunchy bits of salt in.

Im sure your delicious dinner tomorrow will be..err..delicious 😋

I get West Country butter with sea salt in Lidl...It's gorgeous.

I bought that too lol
