Wacom Cintique 24Hd - Chanhing Drivers Is Now Saying Pen Not Compatible???
I bought this item second hand & it came with 1 pen.
When i turned it on, the pen was responsive - then i installed wacom drivers for the unit & it said it needed an older one & to uninstall this version.
I did this, but now saying the pen is not compatible & i need a different pen!
its not telling me how to make it compatible, just that it wont work with these drivers.
The previous owner presumably used this pen with this screen (he had died & his wife was selling his stuff, so its not like he kept the good one & gave me a really old crappy one)
Wacom website has loads of drivers to download - how am i supposed to find the most recent onethat works with the pen?
Surely i dont just have to install & uninstall until it works?
There is a lot available as this machine was made in 2013 i think. Obviously i want the most recent & best drivers i can find, for both to work as best as they can.
I reset it to factory settings, because the owner had personalised everything it to his liking.
Is there a way to test it, to find out, let it choose its own best driver?
Is there a way to find a list of compatible ones with each item?
I might just buy a new pen but theyre not cheap so i want to make use of what i have, at least for a while.
Thanks for your help :)
