Have you noticed there is a glut of polish and lithuanian cars on our roads. When you move to this country are you not required by law to UK register it within 30 days? I wonder how many of their insurance companies would pay out if they had an accident over here?

I to have noticed loads of Polish cars to i think its due to the fact that lots have come to work over here. I would be interested to see if they have insurance etc
It's an EU insurance requirement that any insurance policy written for an EU country is valid to the minimum standard required in any other EU country.

If they have a policy written in Poland that must cover them at least 3rd party in the UK.

In the same way you can drive your car in France and your policy must cover you irrespective of green cards etc to at least 3rd party.
