If someone is listening in to a cell phone conversation via one of those receivers, can they also hear the conversation from a person on a landline talking to someone on a cell phone. In other words, can they hear both sides of the conversation even though one side is from a landline?

Thank you Rojash, I will be more wary in the future. Could you tell me how it is possible for them to hear the landline side of the conversation?
Communication is between the handset and the local dish. This is what is intercepted. It doesn't matter where it goes from there - to another cell, or a to landline, both sides of the conversation must be transmitted between the dish and the cell phone.

Thanks again, Rojash! Not much chance of a private life with a cell phone then.
