Mine didnt arrive until 4 days into the break.
You can either wait and see if it arrives or if you are worried take a pregnancy test.
You may not get one at all as it is a false one, the hormones released stop the normal cycle of egg, and so when you have a break you may not get bleeding, don't worry about it, also it may just mean that you are so 'light' that you don't notice it.
Eric git is also correct, but perhaps this may make things clearer
"
You dont have proper periods when you are on the pill. What you have is called a withdrawal bleed. This bleeding (which doesnt always happen) is caused by you not taking hormones in the pill free week.

If you took all your pills correctly and you didnt have an upset stomach or take any other medicines which might have affected the pill, then it is very unlikely you are pregnant. So start your next packet at the right time. If you are worried ask your doctor or nurse for advice, or do a pregnancy test. Always do this if you miss more than one bleed. If you do become pregnant, there is no evidence to show that taking the combined pill harms the baby."

im taking logynon (think thats spelt right!)
logynon:
"Women using this contraceptive for the first time may experience menstrual irregularities such as spotting, breakthrough bleeding or missed periods. Consult your doctor if any breakthrough bleeding persists. If you don't have a withdrawal bleed for two consecutive months you should do a pregnancy test before starting the next month's contraceptive cycle"

i would suggest that although youve missed just one bleed you have taken 2 packs back to back and so it would be a sensible action to take a pregnancy test.
its been suggested by some scientists that taking two or more packets back to back actually increases protection as the body has a more consistent level of hormones in it. how long does it normally take for you to bleed? i've found it starts the same day no matter how many packets i've takeb back to back and that has sometimes been 4! if you've taken all your pills correctly then you should have nothing to worry about.
Question Author
i've only taken the two packets as i've just gone onto the pill from the contraceptive injection.

i've also spoke to a friend, and she doesnt usually come on until 4 days into her break, as redcrx aslo mentioned is the same for her, so it could happen for me today or tomorrow.

i may take a pregnanct test just to be on the safe side and for peace of mind.
When I stopped taking depo provera I didn't have a period for 2 years!! And I wasn't on any contraceptive. I stopped taking it in May 2003 and my period is only beginning to regulate now... It takes time
Question Author
all i seemed to have was periods when i was on depo provera. i was on it for about a year and was only completely period free for 3 months of it!! at all other times i was on any time of the month my body decided and it could be from 1day to a month or more at a time!!!
