OK so Gemma has a wife, right fair enough that's the thing these days. Unless I'm mistaken he's a geezer sounds like a geezer, has an adams apple etc. Ok so It's a bloke married to a woman. Isn't that the standard configuration? So why is he TGing? He's correct to start with. I don't get it.

I don't 'know' barry, but logic suggests he's not trans.  He only recently married a woman.

Don't really see how that is relevant - they may have been together for years.  There are women who remain married when their husband transitions to wife

Maybe ...

Why is it so complicated? Why can't people just accept the bits they were born with and get on with life the best they can?

Why should they?  I don't understand how men can be attracted to men, why men want to wear women's clothes or turn themselves in to women but whatever they do has no affect on me or others.

If it means they can live happier, more fulfilled lives - why not?

It has got to better than the 'old days' when gay people had to hide it and got married to unsuspecting women just because it was expected.  Misery all round in an unhappy marriage for both.  When men were exposed in the Sunday rags when they were caught out doing something that society thought they shouldn't.

As long as it doesn't affect others (such as in sport), let them get one with it in peace.

In her photo she looks like a very ordinary woman.  I must admit I am no fan of drag Queens who look nothing like women and act so campy.  But I didn't like pantomime dames either as a child.  Like clowns and madks they frightened me.

Best answer Barry.

Does it affect you how she dresses.

Why do people think that they have a right to comment on others live their lives?

Just by her photo, I'd not have guessed.

Anyway, people watching would be incredibly boring if everyone dressed and behaved as others want or expect.

So what? It they're both happy, then let them be. I very much doubt if they desire the affirmation of some aging cock-er-ney on the interwebs.

Because finally (!) we are moving towards a society where freedom and tolerence are replacing restriction and bigotry, which can only be a good thing.

As long as we don't ruin it by letting the pendulum swing too far the other way, and wokeism take over, we should be a lot better for it.

TTT - // ... he's a geezer sounds like a geezer, has an adams apple etc. //

A simple lesson in basic biology - women have Adam's apples as well, they are just less prominent.

If they didn't have them, as you appear to imagine, the entire female species would have died out eons ago, as every single one of them would have choked to death the minute they took their first sip of mother's milk.
