I bought a stylus pen for my Kindle Fire and it didn't work.

I got some new batteries because quite often the battery is at fault when you get something new.

Still not working. Going to send back but Amazon says return window closed 12th February. Which is unusual,other earlier orders are still open.

Question is what can I do now? How do I get in touch with Amazon? This pen is not cheap.

ymf's post at 09.41 is correct...the "returns window" only applies if you change your mind/dislike something. If something is faulty, then you have Consumer Rights on your side...don't give up!

Oh...and I've found that going to their "contact us" and requesting a "call back" is the best means of communication with Amazon.

gingejbee, have requested and got "call back" but only got automated voice not a person.

Got 2 replies from my email one saying the address doesn't accept incoming calls and the other saying someone will be in touch within 6 hours.

Am leaving it until tomorrow now and will then try Barry's number he gave me if I haven't heard.

I won't give up but my blood pressure needs a break!

I bought a coffee machine from them (quite expensive) and it broke down after 6 months, I asked the auto chat for either an agent or help and got put through to a person.

I had to film what was wrong and a day later I got a message to say return it and we will get a refund.

I've had that several times - a Blackberry phone they replaced when it bricked at 18 months; a few things they've refunded and told me keep the other one.  Never had a bad experience with Amazon but I do know people that haven't been so fortunate

Thanks, barry. Rang the number you gave and finally have return label and refund on way.

No choice for another one but don't want it after all the fuss with this one.

Never has been before but not had return window within a month before. Also no problem with order option.
