He played Fred elliot on coronation Street. A hilarious character when there used to be humour on the street, before continuous misery and dispear took hold and the obsession with having to cover the latest social issues.

He played a great character as Fred, not just a comedy part, there were some very emotional scenes between him and Ashleigh.

I watch Classic Corrie and at the moment the main storyline is about Fred  .It's brilliant.
