You can take the District line from Earls Court to Embankment - 12 minutes and then 5 minutes walk

it would take more than an hour to walk

Go on the Piccadilly line from Earls Court to Leicester Square and then walk the rest.  Dont try and walk from Earls Court - it's miles.

It would be a long walk😜. Try taking the Piccadilly Line to Leicester Square station and then it's about 5-10 minutes walk down Charing Cross road.

Earl's Court to Embankment and walk up the hill. If you don't like walking up hills take the Bakerloo or Northern line to Charing Cross, which is a couple of hundred yards closer.

My preference would be the District Line to Embankment too. You can't go wrong when you alight at Embankment. Just walk up the short hill called Villiers Street and turn left at the top, past Charing Cross Station and arrive at Trafalgar Square.

Or go the scenic route, by bus;
