Please Help With Helping An Old Person...

Have you thought about taking these two pills daily? We live where it's cold in the winter, so we don't get much exposure to the sun in the winter. If you do not think it's a good idea, suggest why, or if you think it's a good idea but think I need other vitamins as well, please let me know. I am working on making myself the best I can be mentally, physically, and internally.

However there's just one exception, which is the advice that many people might well benefit from taking a Vitamin D supplement during the winter months:

(I don't get out that much in the sunshine during the spring and summer, so I take Vitamin D all year round).
There's been very little research into the effects of ashwagandha. This might provide some guidance though:

(I won't be bothering with it).
You can get all sorts of recommendations from the Net.
Vit D is often recommended over the winter period for the reason stated above. Take others as you feel you want as long as you've checked evidence of efficacy, possible side effects, and compatibility with anything else you're taking.
Worth noting that one can sometimes see warnings about synthetically created supplements not being as good as natural. No idea how you check that.
I take a Calcium & Vit D tablet every day.
When we lived in France the Govt. paid for a free prescription for a massive (I mean massive, something like 4000x the usual daily recommendation) dose for everyone over 70yrs old.
The doctors insisted on it as well. They wouldn't pay out unless they thought it saved them money in the long run.
Other than that, we take a multi-vitamin pill daily.
