I'm typing a letter with my computer on "Open office" and I needed to put the date on it (ie, May 1st). The abreviation "st" after the number 1 shrank to half it's size and now all the letters are half size. How do I return them to the normal size please ?.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I'm not familiar with Open Office but I would expect it to be similar to Word. In Word, if you click on text it will show you the font and size of that text. Find out what size the rest of the document then block the text you want to change and make it the same as the rest. If it doesn't work that way in Open Office at least I'll have "bumped" your query back into Latest Posts.
An alternative route (to that given by Tuvok) is o go to Format > Text and deselect subscript or superscript, as appropriate.
