This was posted on a friend's FB page.

I also received a message on Messenger, seemingly from her, asking if I'd seen the post.

This isn't like her. It looks as though her FB page has been hacked.

How difficult will it be to get back control of her FB page?

I'm told Facebook isn't easy to contact. Would be interested if anyone knows how as I know someone who would find it useful.

I assume your friend's password no longer works.

I contacted her on WhatsApp but no reply yet.

I saw that same thing on-line the other day...not FB though. Didn't bother checking it out as looked impossible.

As Facebook and WhatsApp are owned by Meta it is likely her WhatsApp account has been hacked too.
