Once the Tories ditch Sunak (when he loses the general election), she is a dead cert for the job on my opinion.  Apparently you can get odds of 9/4 on this eventuality.

She has demonstrated that she is willing to lie, and once called out for the lies, will double-down on them (claiming them to the true) – a valuable trait in the Tory party.

While psychologists might view her behaviour as that of a pathological liar; I believe that many pathological liars, once presented with the truth, will modify their lies to suit.  There must be a term for someone like Badenoch, who continues to lie when presented with the undeniable truth.

Boris must be watching all this with envy.

OK. I'm not sure why you're bothered though or felt it worth posting as The Tories will be in opposition. Having said that just because someone on youtube says she's lied and doubled down on a lie doesn't prove she lied

Some interesting odds from the bookies:

[BTW: Much as some people here might like to put their boot behind certain Tory politicians, it's not 'shoe-in' but 'shoo-in'. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/shoo-in ]

What does your husband Phil say?

Johnson ,Truss and Sunak were all bad leaders But Kemi seems to be Bad enough  to be the next Tory disaterous leader.

They need a right wing populist leader.

She appears to be Googling everything.

Who'd have thought we'd look back with fondness on the May years?

I think it's 'politician'.

Calm down, dear.

Not so much a shoe-in, more a case of Hymie trying to put the boot-in 😄

I'm less impressed by Badenoch than I once was. And even getting Braverman in would be too late now.
