Bradford has been 'no-go' on your own for ages. I remember when I had to take the decision that I could not go out to meet-up with a (female) friend at the theatre in the evening because it meant us both parking some distance from the theatre and walking to meet there. Matinees only after that and at the weekend because of working.
A few weeks ago my niece was riding a horse on the moor near Bradford. Young men drove along the nearby road flashing their lights, sounding horns and yelling and laughing as the horse panicked and almost bolted with her on board. Just reporting a bit of reality.
Probably not, bednobs, but it's notable for the consistency of the type of young men who offend that way and who are not local but have come out from the city. Nothing wrong with coming to a well-known local beauty/recreation spot and having an ice-cream, a walk etc. like others...........but they are out to create trouble and are having an effect in driving the locals away at popular times.
Ladybirder, I understand.
only been to Bradford once, it was closed!! just kidding!🤣 Seriously in 1988 i drove there to watch a football game, with a mate. Went for a pint, saw a queue outside one boozer, on closer inspection the attraction was a stripper, this was about 1.30pm. Sorry to disapppoint you, but we chose another pub instead, similar to that pub in the tv sitcom Early doors!
