Who’s Before My Grandad

I'm looking into my family history and would like to know more about my grandads family,  he was born around 1930 / 1931,  Bernard Butler, married Marlene, and had 7 children, 2 passed and 5 living, and lived in Darlaston their whole life,    I saw that butler is an Irish name?

try the local church as to their records tht may take you back to the great-grandparents on that side of the family.

Be careful with what you wish for.  One of my daughters and a nephew did some very successful digging.  Some of it wasnt too pleasant.

And apparently I have two sisters (well only one left now) and an Aunt in the USA. The other things cannot be mentioned.
