So, Nicebloke, what did you buy on your shopping trip?

Hazlinny 21.47. It was a food shop, was running low.

Fripfrip 21.39. Not at all where I shop is like many towns it has a lot of charity shops and I visit most of them. I've had many good usable items over the years and saved no end of money. In fact 3 weeks ago I bought an easy chair, ( not from a charity shop) but I wanted a foot stool. Their are many foot stools on the market but not of very good build and quality and between £60 and £100. I walked into one of the charity shops and presto, a GPlan foot stool made years ago, and in perfect condition, teak wood round bottom frame and a "real leather" foot rest top. The whole thing looks brand new. The only thing wrong was that the height ajuster was stiff though it being in the same position i guess for many year, WD40 sorted this in 15mins. The price of a good quality foot stool today is anything from £150 up to 300 and even 400, I gave them £25 the asking price, I don't  try to knock them down like some people do. I've also bought lots of fishing gear also over the years, even sheep skin coats and others along with many interesting items. Hope this buts paid to your remark.
