Also, having looked through my answers I see that 4D: Streaks, like a dirty campaigner, could be parsed both as 'smears' or 'smeary'. Any thoughts, team ?

I put Smears. I'm not really sure though.

I think that streaks would be streaky if it was smeary. A dirty protestor smears excrement on the walls (sorry for the awful image).
