We don't own a motorhome but we quite like the idea. We are taking holidays and short breaks this year to Weymouth, Poole, Bath and Chester, albeit not in a motor home.

We're still undecided where to go for Christmas (suggestions on a postcard) and really need to get something booked. It'll be long haul but that's as much as we know at the moment.

NDNs have a motor home and they're sometimes gone for weeks.

Never had any of those things but we used to do a fair bit of camping.  I would love to see more of the Scottish highlands and islands, particularly Faroe and Sheltand.

I have a particular fondness for Pembrokeshire and would happily go back.

Don't own a caravan etc but holidays are all booked with a few extra days booked in for and attempt at glamping with the hounds!

Had a couple of camper vans when younger & did a lot of tented camping. Don't think I could hack it now - too used to my home comforts.

Friends who are recent converts are planning to do the NW Scotland 500 in their VW next month.

I've got to say, it looks like good fun 😀

I have numerous tents of increasing sizes,a trailer tent and a caravan I hope to get a motorhome when I retire and see a lot more of this beautiful country

You're right, Johnny, it is a beautiful country.

I have to say that throughout my life any travelling has been undertaken to "do stuff" at the destination. i.e. walking climbing, mountaineering, other sports. Now that I'm less able or unable to do those things the travelling seems pointless.

I'm not one to just sit on a beach or sit admiring a view.

It's nice to feel the sun on your back though  Dave, and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings.

We're undecided whether to go to, say, Mauritius or the Caribbean for Christmas but it will be a holiday that's primarily for relaxing, doing a couple of excursions and to get away from the Christmas madness.

Clarkson here, look in your mirrors now and then you selfish morons, people are trying to work.

And please don't risk the lives of your entire family to gain one place in the queue created by your fellow pleasure seeker.
