'It was a fun site but the general running and moderation has upset many people. Posts are zapped without justification etc etc. I might need to find another site to lurk on.'

For interest, what alternatives are there out there? And if so what are their strengths/weaknesses?

And how long will this thread last?

I use reddit...something for everyone on there. I lurked for a while...looking in on the lurcher/sighthound subs when I still had Sally. Then discovered the dozens of subs relating to cats...wolf would love that. I joined about 18 months ago and participate on subs relating to indoor gardening, and plants,...food...interior design and decor...nutrition...social and relationship issues. There are UK specific subs too relating to news and politics, specific cities, silly stuff.

There's also subs I wouldn't touch with a barge pole. Definitely something for anyone. You can private message or follow individual members...I stay away from that too.
