My friend has used daVinci AI app to make some images which he wants to use as illustrations for his album art. He's could get into trouble for using these pictures, he has made himself?

How would anyone know that the daVinci AI app was used to create the album artwork images?

If the images that AI used are copyright then your friend could get into trouble with the copyright holders – but there is ‘fair usage’ of copyright material.  Supposing a copyright image was incidental in the artwork (and not the main subject) then this would be considered fair use.  Also if there was limited exposure of the artwork and minimal financial gain, then there would be little point in the copyright holder pursuing redress.
