My drive was built in the 70s    Made of concrete. Has superb grip but looks scruffy. The quotes we have been getting are too expensive. Is there an alternative that can go over concrete?  Thanks in anticipation

Assuming the concrete is still fairly solid (it should still be Ok), Google 'Tar-and-Chip.'

They squirt a coating of tar onto the concrete. Then spread a layer of small chippings, then most likely roll it in.

Easily re-coated if needed after several years.
