There are many ways to catch it out, if you want to.  In my opinion (as a programmer) it is not AI at all, little more than a fancy front end to fancy search algorithms.  Very clever but not AI as it doesnt 'think'.

Yes, when wse get true AI it will.  But I think we are a way off that at the moment.
