Is bravery, by definition, the absence of anxiety, or is it the ability to do things despite feeling anxious?

Most would say it is the latter but then what if someone is so anxious/having panic attacks that they can't do things until they build their confidence up? What if someone had a big panic attack at work and walked out.

They would be labelled as soft, pathetic and unbrave but unless everyone else has experienced the same level as panic as they did is it a fair label?

I would never label anyone as ' soft, pathetic and unbrave ' and anyone who does so, is just a nasty person.

Not everyone can be brave.

Being brave is facing your worst fear and dealing with to the best of your ability - whether that be an illness, a bereavement or a crisis situation such as rescuing a person from drowning or fire.

A person is being brave if they conquer a phobia or face an enemy, or ask a difficult question when they know the answer could have very severe consequences.

Anxiety and panic attacks can be overcome if the affected learns how to recognise the symptoms and how to manage them.  It can take time.

Some uneducated and intolerant people may label people as weak if they have panic attacks but that is their problem.

' soft, pathetic and unbrave '  - - o god I would

You meet them everyday. the worst thing is when the SP and U say "X" - and you proceed on it ( X has happened)

and the SP and U pipe up and say " I didnt say that"

Beware: not to be trusted. betrayal is around the corner. Take it from me. I know. I have been there

Enduring, through your fear and pain. Just keeping going can require huge bravery.

Post Office Horizon - - you say what you know

NOT what someone has told you
