Iphone Contact Birthday Not Going Into Calendar

Usually when I add a new person into my Contacts app and include their birthday, the birthday appears i my Calendar app. However it isn't happening.

I have googled it a bit and have checked that in my phone settings my Calendar and Contacts apps are turned on for the iCloud.

What else do I need to do please?

Also, why might it have changed?

I have also noticed that the iCloud Drive is turned off. Could that have something to do with it?

Have you somehow switched off the birthday calendar, there seem to be 2 on my iPhone, the one listed under 'other' seems to be where contacts stores the birthday info
