What do Muslim men find so threatening about women not dressed in a heavy duty tarp? I don't think the prophet gave any such orders did he?

Tell me if i got that wrong.
Generalisms don't help, andy. If you have ever lived out there or extensively and often visited the region, you will know that there are huge differences as to the approaches and interpretation between the sects - and notably the abhorrent ones to us being the Wahibis and the Shiites.... when one scratches away at the surface , it's not really the Koran but more how they, esp. the mullahs and Islamic academics each interpret the Haddiths and where the inconsistencies originate.....
TTT - // ok so in AH world the fact that there are degrees of, in this case mysogyny, it makes it ok at the extreme ends. I find your wriggling to defend the indefensible Islam quite remarkable. To defend their barbarism as you do It looks to me like you have some sort of connection to Islam. //
Good night TTT.
naomi - // TTT, If he had a connection to it he would undetstand it. He doesn't. //
Not for the first, and I am sure not the last, you assume what I do and do not understand.
You may decide that my understanding does not match your standards, but since I not required to do so, I really attach no value to your assessment.
naomi - // I don't assume anything. Your posts say it all. //
My posts, as all posts are, are open to interpretation.
You choose to interpret my posts as a lack of understanding, which is your view, and not necessarily shared by anyone else on here.
TTT chooses to interpret my recent posts as a 'defence of Islam', based on an imagined connection to the faith.
Although is interpretation is wrong to the point of nonsense, it is still his interpretation.
That's what happens when we post on here - everyone makes a judgement, often they are right, and often they are utterly and consistenly and baselessly wrong.
That's AB.
