Do You Have A Favourite Type Of Bean?

Mine would be butter beans.  They have a slightly floury texture so maybe not to everyone's taste.

I almost forgot...black eyed peas. Not easy to find here. As dad was from the south, we often had black eyed peas and rice. Traditional for New Year's eve iirc. I have a tin in the cupboard to use at some point...also a tin of chickpeas for homemade hummus since I've also got tahini.

Oh, I didn't think of that...there's often a section for Caribbean or African food...its often an ingredient.

Going back to the original post, butter beans... NO.

Even the thought of them makes me feel queasy.
